Thanks for a great post and gentle reminder that we need to MOVE IT! LOL. I always exercised, but cancer happened anyway. Still I see it as more important now than ever - both to have more arsenal to stave off recurrence, and for mental health. Walking to me is like "body meditation." Some days I even muster the strength to jog (and I say "jog", not run, cause I take it slow and easy), but enough to work the pump.

Anyway for more on exercise and other lifestyle choices we can make, will you visit my site? You may find the Integrative Cancer Care tab especially helpful if you're into diet, exercise and or herbs. www.1UpOnCancer.com/integrative-cancercare If you go to home page will find stories on hereditary cancers and FORCE.

Best in health to you all,

I love this post! I think I love it so much because of your imperfectness! Taking care of ourselves often doesn't take top priority. Then something like cancer comes along and forces us to examine everything. Like you, I am BRCA2 positive and was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Also just had the oophorectomy and hysterectomy. So much change and turmoil. I am trying to take charge of my life and that includes exercising more. Thanks for a motivating post.
